I have been painting with a palette-knife for over 25 years so have plenty of tips to pass on. How to achieve different textures and patterns – with particular reference to painting on location. I will also give advice on which types of knives are available. We will work at some point on a simple composition to use the various techniques. Why not make a week end of it and do the mark-making workshop the day before.

Up to 4 people per workshop. I think some experience would be useful for this day but not essential.
Runs 10am – 4pm and costs £45 per day which Includes a delicious light vegetarian lunch! and some materials. Held in my lovely studio at my home in Whitby.
