Whitby has such a wealth of sketching possibilities. Join me at some of my favourite haunts to create some sketchbook pieces. (I am offering a session on Saturday Evening to make your own small sketch book using the stitch and glue technique which you can use following day) I work in pen and watercolour wash which I can provide but this is by no means an exclusive list of things we could use if you prefer (eg pencil, coloured pencils, inks). I will suggest tasks to help you along and give guidance on composition, colour mixing, and use of materials.

Day parking on West Cliff around North Terrace. Meet at the Whalebones
The workshop fee is £45
All equipment and materials are available to use if needed, but a fee will be charged for paints and papers (max £5) I will send more information on booking.
Lunch – either bring a packed lunch or buy something locally
NB this day will include walking steep slopes and steps so you need to be up to that and good footwear needed!
